Kadim Hassoon

Kadim Hassoon is an accomplished engineer in electronics and telecommunications, holding a Bachelor's degree from the University of Technology in Baghdad, obtained in 1993. He spent 17 years in Dubai, gaining international experience and travelling between several countries, including Spain, for work.
A visionary in clean energy, Kadim pioneered the creation of a local electric car powered by solar energy, completed in 2021 with the help of local youth. He has extensively educated the public on solar power and proposed converting vehicles in Iraq to electric cars. His environmental efforts include research on converting organic waste into protein and participating in numerous local and international conferences.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kadim launched awareness programs and supported low-income families. In 2014, he established the first cultural and social house in Al-Bunahidh, Diwaniyah, and founded the largest annual run and marathon festival, leading to the "No Smoking" campaign.
Kadim's community initiatives include creating the first association against religious, sectarian, and political disputes, building a large public library, and launching the Green Mobile Library. He planted thousands of trees and organised the annual World Environment Day festival since 2016. He improved village infrastructure with traffic signs and pedestrian zones and established a code of conduct for drivers.
Focusing on women and children, Kadim founded the Village Women’s Association, organised weekly cultural and health lectures, and held various festivals for children. He also initiated the Albunahidh Bike Festival and erected the first book monument in the village, garnering local and global acclaim.
Kadim Hassoon's dedication to engineering, clean energy, and community development has made a profound impact, establishing him as a leading figure in his community and beyond.

 

Ali Al Dhahir

Ali is a distinguished scholar and professional with a broad and diverse educational background. He earned his BA in Sociology from the University of Jordan in 1985. Furthering his academic pursuits, Ali obtained a M.Sc in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability, specializing in Advanced Societal Leadership, from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, in 2008. He continued his studies at the same institution, earning another M.Sc in European Spatial Planning and Regional Development in 2010.

Ali's professional journey is marked by notable multidisciplinary experience and leadership across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, media and arts production, international humanitarian organizations i.e. ICRC, and NGOs. He served as a logistician with the International Committee of the Red Cross until 2003. Subsequently, he made significant contributions as a Process Developer at ABF Blekinge, Sweden, until 2019. Currently, Ali excels as a Project Manager at Studieforbundet Vuxenskolan in Blekinge, Sweden. His career is distinguished by an unwavering dedication to societal development and strategic leadership

Hanan Salim

Hanan has a B.Sc degree in Mathematics from the University of Babylon 2015 and an M.Sc degree in Mathematics from the same university 2021.In the meantime Hanan is a distinguished journalist and project manager specializing in investigative journalism and women's empowerment.

Since 2021, she has been a journalist with the Nirij Network for Investigative Journalism and serves as the editor for the "Hello Friends" children's section in Al-Sharara magazine. Hanan also contributes to the Peace and Freedom Organization, writing about religious freedom in Iraq.

Previously, she was the Head of Citizen Journalism at the Babiliyat Center for Women Empowerment, where she created advocacy reports and videos from 2020 to 2021. Since 2019, she has published numerous articles and reports across various platforms.

Hanan has received extensive professional training, including Mobile Journalism, Digital Protection, Investigative Journalism, and Data Journalism from reputable organizations such as UNESCO, Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Internews. She is an expert in editing and writing news, reports, and investigative pieces, proficient in photography, videography, and multimedia editing, and skilled in interviewing across diverse social groups.

As a project manager, Hanan led the "Strengthening Protection of Vulnerable Groups Affected by Conflict" project in Sulaymaniyah, funded by the Popular Relief Organization. She also spearheaded advocacy campaigns against hate speech and for legislative reforms to protect women, in collaboration with the Babiliyat Center for Women Empowerment. Hanan's dedication to journalism and women's rights has made a significant impact in her community, establishing her as a leading voice in her field.

Issam Yousif

Issam Yousif is an accomplished professional in international development, excelling in program management, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing. With a robust skill set including budgeting and human resource development, Issam has proven his ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively and ensure program success. He specialises in grants management, training, governance, and human rights, with expertise in setting clear goals and timelines. His leadership roles at organizations like UNESCO, Chemonics International, and WB reflect his dedication to driving impactful change. Issam's experience extends to field coordination, where he has contributed significantly to empowerment programs and food security initiatives. With 18 years of experience working with international NGOs, UN agencies, and USAID implementing partners, Issam Yousif is a highly skilled individual poised to make a difference in the field of international development.

Zaid Al Jubouri

Dr. Zaid Al Jubouri is a distinguished specialist in educational technology and sign language training, dedicated to improving the educational experiences of individuals with hearing impairments. With a strategic approach to coordination, planning, and decision-making, Al Jubouri has demonstrated exceptional organization and adaptability in diverse cultural environments. His career is marked by proactive interpersonal skills, including precision, flexibility, and a strong team spirit.


His professional journey encompasses extensive experience in programming, computer applications for educational management, and training of trainers in sign language for the deaf. He has held key positions such as Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Doha, Qatar, and ICT Coordinator at the Audio Education Complex under the Supreme Education Council in Doha, Qatar. Additionally, he has served as a Field Specific Expert in ICT for hearing disability and sign language dictionaries for the Arab League Educational Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALESCO) in Tunisia.


Throughout his career, Al Jubouri has developed and implemented educational curricula tailored for information technology in deaf education. He has trained and coached teams, providing academic services in IT for the deaf, and supervised the creation of specialized homepages and vocational rehabilitation programs. His work has involved producing scientific materials and sign language dictionaries, and he has significantly contributed to various strategic projects aimed at rehabilitating individuals with hearing disabilities.


Al Jubouri is an expert and active member of several professional organizations, including the Gulf Disability Society, the Qatari Center of Social Cultural for the Deaf, the Arabic Network for Open and Distance Education and International Council for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport and DanceICHPER.SDUSA. His expertise has been recognized through numerous letters of appreciation from various institutions, including the Supreme Council for Education in Doha, Qatar, the Qatar Olympic Committee, The Supreme Education Council and the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in the State of Qatar.

Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English, Al Jubouri's technical skills span multiple operating systems, databases, and software tools. He also worked as a project manager for various technological projects, including the educational bag for workers with hearing disabilities and the mobile sign dictionary. He also supervised many websites concerned with people with disabilities.


In summary, Zaid Al Jubouri's extensive experience and unwavering dedication to the field of educational technology and sign language training have made him a pivotal figure in enhancing the educational landscape for individuals with hearing impairments across the Arab world.





Asaad Al Ameer

Asaad is a dedicated professional deeply captivated by the principles of sustainability, with a specific focus on sustainable product development. Born and educated in Baghdad, Asaad earned his Diploma in Machinery and Equipment from the Institute of Technology in 1995, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad, in 2001. 

His professional journey began at the Ministry of Trade, General Company for Cars in Iraq, where he served as an engineer from 2001 to 2007. This role provided him with extensive experience in machinery and operational procedures, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors in sustainability and economic development. 

In 2007, Asaad moved to Sweden, where he took a pivotal role as a member of the ExiB project at the Chamber of Commerce in Blekinge. His work focused on fostering connections between the Swedish and Iraqi business communities, resolving issues, and conducting market studies. 

From 2012 to 2015, Asaad worked at Abraj Al Samak Company as the Operations and Projects Coordinator. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing commercial tenders and technical specifications for machinery and equipment, providing engineering consultations, and calculating project cost estimations. 

Most recently, from 2016 to 2021, Asaad led as the Factory Manager at Al Sabooh Dairy Plant, where he applied his engineering expertise and leadership skills to enhance production processes and promote sustainable practices within the industry. 

Shabaad Jabbar

Environmental Development

Shabaad Jabbar is a dedicated environmental specialist based in Eskilstuna, Sweden. With a solid academic background in Geology and Contaminated Land, Shabaad's career began in Iraq as a university lecturer and research assistant in environmental science.

In Sweden, she has held various roles, including environmental inspector for Eskilstuna Municipality, community guide, and freelance translator of environmental articles between Arabic, English, and Swedish. Her supervisory roles at Iris Hadar, Fiksgrupp AB, and Cleverex Staffing Company highlight her leadership and expertise.

Shabaad is also an active board member of the International Women's Association and the Iraqi House Association, contributing to educational planning and implementation. Her work with Defend International involves translating documents to facilitate better communication and understanding.

Shabaad Jabbar's career exemplifies her commitment to environmental science and community service, making a significant impact through her diverse roles and leadership.

Tiba is an accomplished professional in the advertising and marketing industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Al-Mamoon University (2016-2020). Since 2015, she has been the Director of Ailin Advertising Company, where she manages a dynamic team, oversees advertising projects, and develops digital marketing strategies. Her strong client relationships and leadership skills have been pivotal to her success.

Tiba's expertise includes project management, digital marketing, and advertisement design. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed courses in digital marketing, advertising strategies, leadership, and data analysis from prestigious institutions such as Google, Coursera, and Udemy.

Fluent in Arabic, Tiba actively participates in trade shows and events, expanding her professional network. She is an avid reader in marketing and business strategies and volunteers in charitable organizations, enhancing her community impact. Her passion for travel and cultural exploration enriches her understanding and communication with diverse clients. Tiba also manages social media content, boosting brand identity and engagement.
